This is one beefy chassis with stunning looks and solid performance and best of all is its surprisingly light weight! The base plate of our chassis has been considered a work of art. CNC machined out of 1/4” 6061 aluminum, it provides a solid foundation for our chassis. Key features of the base plate include strategically placed hole which allow easy mounting of our custom battery holder or aftermarket Associated battery cups. Slits are also provided for Velcro fasteners. In addition, recessed holes under the chassis hide screw heads to prevent catching them on any obstacles you may slide across! Truly a versatile piece! The radio plate is made of sturdy 1/8” sheet metal and coated with corrosion resistant treatment. The highly versatile radio plate has strategically placed 3mm holes for easy mounting on the top or middle of the chassis. Plenty of 3mm slits are provided to allow easy mounting of radio equipment using zip ties or Velcro strips as alternatives to double backed tape! The polished side body mounts are CNC machined of 6061 aluminum and provide a sturdy support for your truck body. You will be required to drill four 2mm holes in the sides of your truck to mount your body. This subtle side mounting system eliminates unsightly holes and posts sticking up on the upper part of the truck body! Like all the quality components in this kit, even the upper link mounts are CNC machined out of light weight aluminum.
